KSI is a huge fan of Arsenal and he has revealed the team he is afraid of the most in the Premier League title race
KSI, a popular YouTuber and Arsenal fan, has revealed an unexpected team that he is concerned about in the Premier League title battle. That team is none other than Arsenal’s arch-rivals Tottenham Hotspur.
Speaking to BBC Sports columnist Chris Sutton, KSI endorsed Arsenal’s chances but indicated that Tottenham may win a hypothetical championship race because they don’t have to worry about European competition. He stated:
“Seeing some of the players get injured straight away hasn’t helped but I still feel very confident in Arsenal and what we can do.
“For me, the team I’m afraid of the most is Tottenham, because they don’t have any European football and can just concentrate on the Premier League.”
KSI stated the reasoning behind his allegation, citing the widespread injury issues faced by various clubs as a result of fixture congestion. In addition, he stated:
“It feels like, especially this season, a lot of players are getting injured left, right, and centre at the top clubs so ultimately playing less games will make a big difference.
“You have got to remember all the games are a lot longer now, with so much stoppage time added on, so it’s more of a stretch on the squad.”
KSI’s comments come at an interesting point in the season, as Arsenal and Tottenham are the only two unbeaten clubs in the Premier League. They met a few weeks ago in a dramatic North London Derby that ended 2-2 with the clubs splitting the spoils.
While the season is just seven games old, most projections for the title race may go either way because each team still has 31 games to play.
Both Spurs and Arsenal have put in some encouraging performances this season, but have been plagued by injury problems virtually every week. It will be interesting to observe how the two competitors navigate this campaign and if KSI’s prediction pans out.
