Rumors are spreading that Real Madrid is on the verge of signing Bayern Munich’s center-back David Alaba
David Alaba is one of the best center-back in the world. He has shown his defending skills at Bayern. But now he is on the transfer list and could move to Real Madrid soon.
On the other hand, Sergio Ramos, considered as the best center-back in the world by most of the football fans is facing tough times at Real Madrid.
A few days ago, Bayern released a statement regarding Alaba’s transfer because of his contract broke down. He has won nine Bundesliga titles and the Champions League in 2013 and 2020. His contract expires at the end of this season.
In the signing race, Liverpool are also interested in Alaba alongside Madrid. But Madrid have more chances of signing him. Alaba said he has no problems to play with Real Madrid and if this transfer happens Ramos might leave Madrid soon.
Ramos was signed by Real Madrid in 2003 and is the most loyal player for the club till now. He has played 711 games for Madrid in all competitions. Therefore, he has been the most influential and important player in Real Madrid history.
Recently, Leo Messi played his 500th game for Barcelona to become the second most loyal player in La Liga history after Ramos. Ramos has played 506 La Liga matches.
