Jones made his U23 debut in January of 2018. On February 1, 2018, he signed his first professional contract. On April 7, 2018, he was a member of Liverpool’s squad for their Premier League match against Everton.
However, he did not play in that league. Jones, on the other hand, was a key figure in Liverpool’s pre-season games leading up to the 2018-19 season.
