In this article, we will analyze who the better player is, Leo Messi or Gareth Bale.
To begin with, I don’t think Bale is an overall better player than Messi. That being said, I still think Bale was a wonderful player and would have been a very valuable asset if given regular playing time and situations where he could exploit defences with his finishing, pace, and all-around attacking ability.
Bale’s inability to continue playing in Real Madrid’s starting lineup as he once did has been his current issue. He was a key member of Madrid’s starting lineup and a consistent force in the team’s important games during his early years there.
However, as other players like Isco, Vasquez, and Asensio have progressed, Bale has lost favour.
Though Bale is undoubtedly a player of elite calibre, he is not Messi’s calibre. Additionally, I think that while Bale was at Tottenham, he was more liberated and utilised as the centre of attention.
He has lived up to the excitement surrounding his world-record move to Real Madrid in 2013, but in my opinion, the move has not diminished his trophy collection, exposure, or bank account balance.

Bale is a talented player, and in my opinion, he ought to be playing every week for a different team.
