Before relocating to Bordeaux, Zidane made his debut for the French team Cannes.
After winning two Serie A titles in Turin, he transferred to Juventus, one of the biggest teams in Italy, in 1996.
Zidane joined Real Madrid’s first Galacticos in 2001, winning La Liga and the Champions League with Los Blancos. He was joined by players like David Beckham, Luis Figo, Roberto Carlos, and Ronaldo Nazario.
Zidane was a member of the teams that won the European Championship in 2000 and the World Cup for France for the first time in 1998, both of which were held domestically.
After he was sent out in the 2006 World Cup final for headbutting Marco Materazzi in the chest, Italy won on penalties following a 1-1 draw, and Zidane’s playing career came to an end.
After leading Real Madrid for two stints and winning three Champions League titles and two La Liga titles, Zidane went on to enjoy a prosperous managerial career.

In 2015, Zidane listed Lionel Messi, former Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo, and former Chelsea striker Eden Hazard as his top three players.

As per TNT Sports, Zidane said: “After Ronaldo and Messi, Hazard is my favourite player. It is spectacular to watch him play.
“If I see him playing for Real Madrid? I can only say I love the player.
“I have no doubt he will soon recover his form.”
