Throughout his playing career, David Beckham undoubtedly made a few dubious wardrobe choices. He was never one to hold back when it came to his wardrobe, frequently with highly dubious outcomes.
Naturally, his hair ended up in a boat just like this one.
For quite some time, Beckham has been sporting a fairly conventional short back and sides cut, but there was a time when you never knew what kind of trim he would wear every week. Over the years, he experimented with a variety of hairstyles, including cornrows and shaving his head.
Nevertheless, during his tenure at Manchester United, his hairdo was the only thing that caused him problems.
David Beckham Recalls Controversial Hairstyle
In an interview with Gary Neville for The Overlap, David Beckham disclosed that the only haircut that annoyed Alex Ferguson at the beginning of the new millennium was his mohawk.
To be exact, the Scot would even force him to shave it off in the locker room before the Community Shield match against Chelsea in 2000.
“Neville: What’s the hairstyle that caused the most controversy?
Beckham: You tell me?
Neville: Is it the mohawk?
Beckham: Probably the mohawk.
Neville: How long did that last, the mohawk?
Beckham: It lasted until the gaffer saw it and then it had to go. He made me shave it in the dressing room.”
It’s evident that Ferguson didn’t like the appearance. Beckham has previously discussed this incident.

Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink and Mario Melchiot’s goals, either side of Roy Keane’s red card, would ultimately condemn Manchester United to a 2-0 loss.
Maybe things might have turned out differently if David Beckham hadn’t felt compelled to use the hair clippers.
