Alejandro Garnacho scored an instant goal of the season for Manchester United against Everton at Goodison Park with a magnificent bicycle kick.
The Argentinian’s acrobatic strike came inside four minutes on Merseyside, with the 19-year-old’s effort flying past Jordan Pickford into the top corner.
The move began with Victor Lindelof’s inch-perfect crossfield pass to Marcus Rashford.
Diogo Dalot then floated the ball to Garnacho, who struck an incredible bicycle kick from 12 yards out to put United ahead.
With less than three minutes on the clock, the Argentina international winger silenced the home crowd, who had been protesting their 10-point penalty in the Premier League.
He really hit the net with a remarkable effort that recalled Ronaldo’s famous Champions League strike for Real Madrid against Juventus.
The goal was also very similar to Wayne Rooney’s iconic overhead kick against Manchester City.
Alejandro Garnacho is indeed following his idol Cristiano Ronaldo’s footsteps. He has literally scored one of the greatest goals in football history at the age of just 19.
