In an attempt to advance to the tournament’s final four, Cristiano Ronaldo and company announced Portugal’s roster for their quarterfinal matchup against Denmark in the UEFA Nations League.

Dias, a 27-year-old defender for Manchester City, had been out due to a muscle injury sustained during Premier League play. Geovany Quenda, a teenage striker for Sporting Lisbon, has also been called up for the first time.

“At 17, being in the national team shows his potential,” said coach Roberto Martinez, insisting the youngster’s age was “not a problem”.
