Portugal, the 2016 European champions, have announced their roster for the 2024 Euro as they prepare for this summer’s finals in Germany.

The team for Portugal’s 2024 Euro has been revealed. Roberto Martinez decided to complete his 26-man roster before the competition in Germany.

The 2016 European champions go to Euro 2024 as favorites, with Cristiano Ronaldo expected to play in his sixth European Championship and Roberto Martinez replacing Fernando Santos as head coach.

While Ronaldo will be looking to add a second international medal, the Spanish manager will be attempting to accomplish what he was unable to as Belgium’s manager: win a major tournament.

The Portugal squad for Euro 2024 is quite talented in other areas. Portugal has a great chance to repeat their eight-year feat since they have a wealth of attacking and defensive talents.

Portugal’s top priority will be to go through the Euro 2024 qualifying groups with as little problems as possible. They should have this goal given that Group F includes Turkey, the Czech Republic, and Georgia, a team that is making its maiden qualifying appearance.
