In a recent incident, Paul Pogba revealed about his mental situation under Jose Mourinho. The Portuguese manager had a great stint with the Reds but Pogba said he experienced depression under him.

“I’ve experienced depression many times in my career, but you don’t talk about it,” he told La Figaro.

“Sometimes, you don’t know you’re depressed, you only want to isolate yourself, be alone, and these are signs that don’t deceive.

“Personally, it started when I was with Jose Mourinho in Manchester. You ask yourself questions, wonder if you’re at fault, because you have never lived moments like these in your life.”

In December 2018, United sacked Mourinho and appointed Ole Gunner Solskjaer as their new manager. He was later replaced by Ralf Rangnick in 2021. And now there are rumours that the club is in talks with Ajax manager Erik Ten Hag to replace Ralf because of an unstable relationship with his players.
