In this article, we will learn about the countries that have scored the most goals in the European championship history.
Since 1960, fifteen UEFA European Championships have taken place, with Germany—both as West Germany and as the current unified Germany—having won most of them.
It is hardly surprising that they lead the scoreboard with 78 goals, nine of which came from their six final appearances, after three victories and three runner-up finishes.
In fact, Germany has scored more goals in the Euro Final than the victors of 2004, Greece has scored in the competition’s history, and Wales and the Republic of Ireland combined have scored.
Of course, success does not elevate one to a higher position on the goals list. Greece has only won once and scored 14 goals, half of which came in their lone successful 2004 campaign, while the Netherlands has only won once and scored 57 goals.

While Italy, one-time winners, and three-time finalists, has only scored as many goals as England, who have never even been to the finals, Spain, who have won the title three times and finished second once, has scored two fewer goals than the Netherlands.
