Thorgan Hazard, Eden Hazard’s brother, has stated that the Chelsea icon will not take on a managerial role in the future.
Eden Hazard, 32, announced his retirement from the sport last week. Following his retirement, curiosity arose about his future and the possibility of him becoming a manager in the future. Thorgan, on the other hand, believes his older brother is unsuitable for the post, as he stated (via Football Transfers):
“He is mentally and physically not capable of doing that. And we won’t see him in the dugout as a manager, either. He just wants to spend time with his family.”
Eden Hazard spent his senior career with LOSC Lille, Chelsea, and Real Madrid. During his time with the Blues, he became a footballing superstar, scoring 110 goals and providing 92 assists in 352 appearances.
With the West London club, he won two Premier League crowns and two UEFA Europa League trophies, among other accolades. His play earned him a €115 million transfer to Real Madrid in 2019.
Hazard, on the other hand, was unable to achieve such heights at the Santiago Bernabeu. The forward could only make 76 appearances for Real Madrid in four years due to fitness and injury concerns, as well as poor form. During that time, he had seven goals and 12 assists.
Hazard left the Spanish giants as a free agent in the summer, only to announce his retirement three months later.

“He was in my eyes the best performer at the 2018 World Cup when Belgium finished third.”
He added: “An all-time @premierleague great no doubt & would be in a lot of all time 11’s!
“In the past that alone would be enough to be lauded unquestionably but in this day & age, people are still not happy with that, as he didn’t win a World Cup or do business at Madrid.”
Eden Hazard will be recognized as one of the most outstanding Premier League players, despite his disastrous tenure at Real Madrid. He was instrumental in Chelsea winning multiple trophies, frequently creating moments of magic to grind out results in critical games.
