Vinicius Junior (Full Name – Vinícius José Paixão de Oliveira Júnior) is a Brazilian attacker born on 12 July, 2000 in Sao Goncalo, Rio De Janeiro. His father’s name is Vinícius José Paixão de Oliveira but mother’s identity is not known yet. He has two brothers and a sister.
Childhood
Vini was interested in soccer from his childhood. So his parents enrolled him in the soccer school. He joined his first the Brazilian Flamengo club in 2005, when he was only 5 years old which made him less interested in his school studies.
He was a video game addictive and played a lot of them on his phone. Despite his addiction he chose to play football, that is, he chose Barcelona team more during video games.
Career
In 2016, Vini renewed his contract with the club. His extraordinary talent attracted many European giants like Barcelona and Real Madrid, as well as the Brazilian national team.
In 2018, Real Madrid signed a contract with him. He was however loaned to the Galaxy with a €46 million deal with the Spanish club. He set the world record of being the most expensive player under 18.
He played 69 games for Flamingo and scored 14 times in the 2017-2018 season. In the 2018 -2019 season, he played 5 games for the Real Madrid youth team, scoring 4 goals.
In the same year, he made his debut for the senior team and scored 12 goals in 94 games for Real Madrid.
