Theo Hernandez (Full Name – Theo Bernard François Hernandez) is a French footballer born on 6 October, 1997 in Marseille, France. His father, Jean-François Hernandez, was a professional footballer at many clubs including Atletico Madrid and Marseille. Theo is the younger bother of Lucas Hernandez.
Chidhood
The two brothers had a very dark childhood regarding their parent’s relationship. Their father had constant arguments with their mother and eventually left his family when the Theo and Lucas were still kids
Their family faced serious financial problems and their mother had to work long shifts to raise her two sons.
Theo’s idol was AC Milan legend, Paolo Maldini, with whom he has been working since arriving at Milan in 2019.
Career
The Hernandez brothers played as a reserved player in Atletico Madrid’s youth academy. However in 2016, they had to part ways as Lucas was promoted to Atletico’s senior side and Theo went on loan to Deportivo Alavez.

T. Hernandez made his professional debut in August 2016 against Sporting Gijon. He scored his first professional goal in May 2017 against Alavez.
In 2017, Hernandez joined Real Madrid for a six year contract. He made his debut in the Spanish Super Cup victory over Barcelona.
Hernandez mostly played as a substitute for Real Madrid, but played three times in his team’s title winning Champion League campaign. So he was loaned to Real Sociedad at the end of the season.
His form arrived when he was signed by AC Milan in 2019. He made his debut in the Milan derby and scored his first goal in a 2-1 win over Genoa.
