Mason Mount is an English footballer born on 10 January, 1999 in Portsmouth, United Kingdom. His father’s name is Tony Mount and mother is Debby Mount, who are a football fan.

At the age of four, Mount took his first steps as a footballer at the Baorhunt FC academy. When he was 6, he passed the Chelsea academy’s trial.

Unexpectedly, his father did not want his son to join the Chelsea academy due to some reason. But Mason ended up joining the academy because of his talent and skills. Mount won many trophies at the academy, including 3 FA Youth Cups and one UEFA Youth League title.

In 2017, Mount started his professional career season with Vitesse Arnheim. He was chosen as Vitesse best player of the year.

Mount joined Aston Villa in 2018. His best performance came against Bolton Wonderers when he scored a hat-trick and kept his team in contention for the play-off.

In 2019, Mount returned to Chelsea when Frank Lampard was the head coach. He scored his first goal for Chelsea against Leicester City.

Mount had to compete for playing XI with Kai Havertz and Hakim Ziyech at the beginning. However, he showed his goalscoring and playmaking skills after getting opportunities and totally adjusted himself with his teammates.

Mason has represented England’s U15 and U21 youth team. In 2019, he made his debut for the England senior team. He scored his first international goal against Kosovo in UEFA Euro 2020 qualifying round.
