Aarson Ramsey (Full Name – Aaron James Ramsey) is a Welsh mid-fielder born on 26 December 1990 in Caephilly, United Kingdom. His father’s name is Kevin Ramsey and mother is Marlene Ramsey.
Childhood
Ramsey completed his schooling from Rhymney Valley Comprehensive School in Caerphilly County Borough. His introduction to the football world happened when he joined the Urdd training session at Caerphilly.
Aaron was firstly interested in rugby. After showing his extraordinary talent and skill from his childhood, he earned the rank 4th in Great Britain in the under 17 age group in 2006.
Career
Aaron Ramsey started playing for Cardiff City during his school life and was the club’s youngest ever first-team player. He made 28 appearances for his senior team, which includes the 2008 FA Cup Final.
He gained his first-team experience by playing for Arsenal, which had moved to a £5 million deal. Unfortunately, he suffered a leg injury in the match against Stoke City in 2010, so his career stalled significantly.
Fortunately, he returned to full fitness after having spent two loan spells away from Arsenal, in the 2011-12 season.
He scored 16 goals for Arsenal in all competitions in the 2013-14 campaign. It made him not only the key player for the club but the winner in the 2014 FA Cup Final against Hull City.
He joined Juventus in 2019-20 season and thus won the Serie A title in his first season. However, his injury did not let him prove his real talent and show his real potential.
The 30 year old experienced his first taste in international participation in 2005, when he was called up for the Wales U17s. Having emerged from the Wales youth team successfully, on 21 August 2007, Ramsey debuted for the Wales U21s.
Being the Wales captain at his 20 years 90 days made Ramsey the youngest ever captain in Wales. In this process, he broke the Mike England had set in 1964.
