Mohamed Salah (Full name – Mohamed Salah Hamed Mahrous Ghaly) is an Egyptian striker born on 15th June, 1992 in Nagrig, Egypt. His father’s name is Salah Ghaly and he haven’t told about his mother in deep. He has a younger brother, Nasr Salah and has two children, Kayan Mohamed Salah and Makka Mohamed Salah.
Childhood
Salah wasn’t good at academics. He tried finding the right balance between his academics and football but he could never improve his academics. Football remained his priority from his childhood.
He always loves to watch football. Salah took his game as a serious career opportunity when he joined a local youth club ‘El Mokawloon’ in Cairo. In May 2010, when he was 18, he was finally accepted into the senior team of his club.
Career
In April 2012, he signed a four year contract with Swiss club FC Basel. He made his UEFA Champions League and Europa League debut in the same year. Salah was part of the Basel squad that won the ‘Uhren Cup.’
He joined Chelsea in January 2014. In February 2014, Salah debuted for Chelsea in the ‘Premier League’ against ‘Newcastle United’. He scored his first PL goal against Arsenal.
In February 2015, Chelsea loaned him to Italian club Fiorentina. On February 14, he made his debut for the club.
In August 2015, he was transferred to Roma on loan. Salah emerged out as the ‘Player of the Season’ (2015-16 season).
Despite signing a long-term deal with Roma, Salah couldn’t resist an offer by Liverpool in 2017. In June 2017, he signed a 50 million pound deal with Liverpool, the highest in club’s history.

Mohamed Salah scored his first hattrick for Liverpool against Watford. He has represented the Egyptian junior teams in U-20 and U-23 category, including the 2011 FIFA U-20 World Cup and 2012 Summer Olympics.
Salah made his international debut for Egypt in 2014 World Cup Qualifiers. He earned a place in CAF Team of the Tournament. During the 2018 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers, he was the top scorer for his team with five goals.

Personal Life
Salah is a devoted Muslim. After every goal, he performs ‘Sujood’. In 2012, Salah married Maggi and the couple has a daughter, Makka.
