Sheffield United’s forward Oli McBurnie attacked a fan after he tried to shoot a video of the number 9. This was a shameful act by Oli.
Oli took the fan’s camera, threw it on the ground, and kicked the lens to ensure that the video doesn’t shoot. But he was caught kicking and punching the fan.
The club has started an investigation, saying it is aware of the video on social media and made a statement regarding the video.
The statement reads: “Officials at Sheffield United are aware of the video circulating on social media and are currently investigating.”
Oli could face a lifetime ban if found guilty. Attacking someone without any specific reason is a crime.
McBurnie is currently on the sidelines after picking up an injury in the 3-0 defeat to Arsenal last month.
Sheffield United is at 20th position on Premier League points table. Their next match is against 8th spot Everton.
