Pele’s record for all-time goal record has been broken by Cristiano Ronaldo
On Monday, Juventus beat Udinese by 4-1 with the help of Cristiano Ronaldo’s brace alongside Paulo Dybala and Fedric Chiesa.
With Ronaldo’s two goals against Udinese, he became the second highest all-time top scorer in all competitions (Club and Country) in football history beating Pele’s record.
Ronaldo has scored 758 goals while Pele scored 757 goals throughout his career. It’s not officially announced yet but Ronaldo has really achieved this milestone.
Recently, Lionel Messi broke Pele’s all-time club goal record. Messi had scored his 644th goal for Barcelona and broke Pele’s record of 643 goals as a Santos player.
Ronaldo is just one goal behind Josef Bican to become all-time top scorer in football history. But the stats are really confusing, RSSSF says that Bican scored 805 goals throughout his career in all league competitions while some are against these stats and says that he had scored 759 goals.
Juventus’ next match is against Serie A leaders AC Milan. Ronaldo could break Bican’s record in that match and surpass him to become the all-time leading top scorer in history.
