Romelu Lukaku is set to have a medical ahead of his transfer to Chelsea
Chelsea is so close to sign the Belgium international from Inter Milan. Romelu Lukaku has played for Chelsea in 2011/12 season.
Lukaku should be announced as a Chelsea player within the next 48 hours. The deal was agreed for a price of €115m, no need for Chelsea to sell another player.
The 28 year old is reportedly heading to Belgium for a medical today. According to UK’s “amber list”, a COVID test must be taken 3 days before travel and 2 days after arrival, but there’s no need to quarantine if fully vaccinated (10 days otherwise).
Romelu should be confirmed as a Chelsea player within next 24 hours. By this we mean it would give him the chance to prepare for the season and would also make him eligible for the UEFA Super Cup.
