Romelu Lukaku reportedly wants to join AS Roma after Chelsea rejected him
Romelu Lukaku attacker is dissatisfied with his uncertain future after Inter and Juventus both dropped interest in him in recent weeks, and Chelsea obviously does not want him in their plans.
According to reports, Lukaku’s lawyer, Sebastien Ledure, has addressed Roma and Milan about Lukaku’s desire to return to Italy.
Several publications, notably Sky Sport, claim that the Giallorossi can only acquire his signature on loan. Roma has the financial wherewithal to match Chelsea’s €40 million asking price.
Roma are considering Lukaku as a replacement for Duvan Zapata. Chelsea would have to cover a big amount of the player’s salary, which Roma cannot now match.
The Italian club’s supporters hope to welcome Lukaku in the last days of the summer transfer window. According to multiple reports, Roma fans want the Belgian the most.
