After Cristiano Ronaldo seemed to be making fun of Pele and other great strikers, Rio Ferdinand made light of the situation by calling Ronaldo a “b*****d.”
In the Portuguese star’s most recent YouTube video, Ferdinand and Ronaldo, two of his former Manchester United teammates, have a conversation.
The video was titled: “My thoughts on my 2023/24 season and the truth about my future. Talk with my friend Rio (PART 1)”.
Ronaldo mentioned his desire to score goals towards the end of the conversation.
He said: “I know I’m still looking good, I look good, I feel I can still dribble, shoot, score goals and jump. The day that I start to feel that I’m producing nothing, listen, I pack my bags and I go away.
“But it’s far from that because as I told you, I don’t want to be cocky, I scored 60 goals this season(23/24). Then the people say I didn’t score in five matches in the Euros, I scored 130, I’m the most goal scorer in history. I will put the level even higher.”
Ronaldo seemed to be making fun of Pele and other great goal-scorers at this point.
The 39-year-old continued: “Soon I will do 900 and, after, I will beat 1,000. I want to reach 1,000 goals. If I don’t have injuries, this, for me, is the most important. I want that.

“It’s the best marker I can have in football. There will be one difference: all of my goals have videos, so I can prove that.”
At this point, Ferdinand burst out laughing and said: “You’re a b*****d. You’re talking about Alfredo Di Stefano, Pele, Eusebio.”
Ronaldo then added: “If you want more goals, I can bring them from training too. So, no problem, all the goals will be on video. And I will prove to the people.
