PSG is considering selling Kylian Mbappe this season
Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly ready to sell Kylian Mbappe this summer. The French striker has again rejected a new five year contract this month.
The 22-year old is looking forward to sign Real Madrid as soon as possible. The Spanish club is yet to make a bid for Mbappe but they will surely have one soon.
PSG don’t want Mbappe to lose next year for free as his contract will be expiring in June 2022. Hence they only got one option and that is to sell the Frenchman this summer.
The French club thought that the signings of some superstars, especially Lionel Messi, would tempt Mbappe to stay in Paris but it doesn’t seem to be true.
If Mbappe leave in the next few weeks, PSG could sign the Brazilian forward Richarlison and help Neymar link up with his international teammate.
Talking about Mbappe’s future, Mauricio Pochettino said: “I think he’s very good, he’s working hard to have a good season. As I’ve said in recent weeks, Kylian is our player and I don’t see why he wouldn’t be with us this season.
“This period is part of football, a lot of things are said, some things happen and others never do.
“The most important thing is that Kylian is very calm. He has a year left on his contract, he’s a PSG player. We’re happy with him and, from what I see, he’s also happy with us.”
