Mauricio Pochettino could return to Tottenham next season
Mauricio Pochettino was sacked by Tottenham in November 2019. Jose Mourinho replaced him but was also sacked after a year duty.
In January 2021, PSG signed Pochettino and he won the French Super Cup and Coupe de France with them. However, he failed to lift the Ligue 1 trophy.
Tottenham has finished 7th in the Premier League this season and had a serious bad campaign. So they are trying to bring back their former manager to his place.
Spurs chairman Daniel Levy has realized that he made a mistake sacking Pochettino. Now he wants the Argentine back and is in talks with him for a few days.
Pochettino failed to deliver the Ligue 1 title to PSG, nevertheless they want him to stay at the club. Although he is not completely happy in Paris.
Harry Kane has decided to leave Tottenham this summer. Spurs are also making the move in order to persuade Kane to not quit the club.
Ryan Mason is the temporarily in charge of Spurs’ management. Although his team failed to defeat Manchester City in Carabao Cup final.
“This is something that hopefully will be solved soon and we will be able to have this strength again and, with our fans, create this bond that makes the team better and will help us to achieve the goals that we have set.” Pochettino said on missing playing in front of the supporters.
