Sports Desk – Portugal defeats Netherlands by 1-0 to become the first ever to win UEFA Nations League.
On Monday, Portugal takes on Netherlands in the Nations League final, in which the Portugal won the inauguration of the League and becomes the champions of Europe.
It is the first time that UEFA introduce the Nations League. Both the teams were playing the first final of the league.
The first and the only goal of the match was scored by Gonçalo Guedes, assisted by Bernardo Silva. A pass not so good, but then also, the Valencia striker netted the ball with a sensational finish.

Netherland tried his best to recover this lead but the Portuguese defenders stood with the mind of not conceding any goal. Jose Fonte has defended the attack incredibly. Virgil van dijk has not leaved any opportunity to stop the Portuguese strikers but was not able to win the trophy for the Dutch side.
