Logan Paul attacked Lionel Messi again, claiming that the countersuit his firm filed was unjust.
After accusing Lionel Messi of stealing his energy drink brand, YouTube sensation Logan Paul, who later became a professional wrestler, has challenged the legendary football player to a brawl.
The Argentine captain, who is nearing the conclusion of his playing career, has begun taking strides toward his entrepreneurial endeavors after joining Inter Miami in the MLS.
Mas+ vs Prime Drink
Following his relocation to the USA last year, Messi—who holds the record for the most Ballon d’Ors in football history with eight—launched the Mas+ energy drink. Since he and KSI also own the brand “Prime,” which has gained popularity in recent years, particularly among young people worldwide, Paul was not impressed by Messi’s participation in the competition and accused the Inter Miami star of copying the idea of a hydration drink.
Recently, tensions between the two parties have increased. To protect his company’s trademark, the YouTuber-turned-professional wrestler filed a lawsuit against Messi’s energy drink company.
The legendary Argentinean didn’t hold back when the distributor of the brand filed a lawsuit against PRIME for anti-competitive behaviour in October 2024.
Paul, who is scheduled to compete at this year’s WrestleMania, recently attacked the football star once more, claiming that the countersuit his firm filed was unjust.
“You guys copied us and everybody saw it. Your drinks look exactly like Prime, identical, and then you sued us, that’s not fair. That’s why we countersued, obviously we were going to. If you can’t beat the best, you have to be the best, but that’s illegal, that’s our design and we’re defending ourselves,” Paul stated in the video.
He has challenged the football great to an in-ring fight.
“I swear I would consider dropping the lawsuit, only if… a Logan Paul vs Messi fight takes place. See you in the ring, bro,” Paul added.
