Liverpool defeated West Brom after Alisson’s powering header in the very last minute
On Sunday, Liverpool defeated West Brom 1-2 thanks to Alisson Becker’s incredible goal in the last minute of the injury time.
The first goal of the match was scored by West Brom’s Hal Robson-Kanu while the equalizer came from Mohamed Salah.
Liverpool was making constant attacks but couldn’t take a goal lead. However, they got a corner in the end and their goalkeeper Alisson Becker shown up in the box to make it 1-2.

This was the first time in the Premier League’s history that a goalkeeper scored a goal. The scenes were amazing, Jurgen Klopp and the whole management went mad.
Alisson was in tears after his goal because of his father’s unavailability (his father passed away in 2020). He said that he would had been happy if his father were there to see him.
“I’m too emotional, these last months, for everything that happened with me – with my family,” he said.
“But football is my life. I play since I remember, as a human being, with my father. I hope he was here to see it, but I’m sure that he’s seeing – with God on his side – and celebrating.”
