Before moving to Real Madrid, Kylian Mbappe will have to adhere to a rigid Cristiano Ronaldo schedule.
When Mbappe’s contract at Paris Saint-Germain expires this summer, he agreed to join Los Blancos, ending one of the longest transfer sagas in history.
Tuesday at the Santiago Bernabeu is the formal presentation ceremony for the France captain. At Real Madrid’s training facility in Valdebebas, Mbappe is scheduled to sign a formal contract. Florentino Perez, the club president, will formally present the attacker at Real Madrid City.
After that, Mbappe will be driven to the Bernabeu for a presentation in front of the supporters. Legends of the Los Blancos, like Zinedine Zidane, are expected to appear, along with live music and pyrotechnics.
With 256 goals in 308 games, the Frenchman holds the record for most goals scored by a PSG player. He just signed a five-year contract worth €15 million (£12.8 million) each year after taxes.
Perhaps Real’s best acquisition since Ronaldo joined the team in 2009 is Mbappe. Furthermore, the club is reportedly getting ready to shape the 25-year-old into the likeness of the Portugal star, according to Spanish publication Diario AS.
According to the Spanish publication, Antonio Pintus, the team’s fitness expert, has already created a Ronaldo-like training schedule for the new player.
Ronaldo is renowned for being in excellent physical shape; at 39 years old, the five-time Ballon d’Or winner is still able to perform at a reasonable level.
On signing for Real, Mbappe said last month: “A dream come true. So happy and proud to join the club of my dreams, Real Madrid.
“Nobody can understand how excited I am right now. Can’t wait to see you, Madridistas, and thanks for your unbelievable support. Hala Madrid!”
This summer, Endrick is also scheduled to sign with Real Madrid, becoming a member of the team’s elite forward line that also includes Jude Bellingham, Vinicius Jr., Rodrygo, Endrick, and Mbappe.
