Kylian Mbappe And Neymar are on a verge to leave the French club PSG after failing to continue their relationship with the president
Things with PSG have not been going right lately, especially when their biggest superstars Kylian Mbappe and Neymar are one a verge to leave the club.
If Mbappe refuses to sign a new contract at the Parc des Princes, PSG has made it abundantly plain that he must depart this summer. They now seem to be at the stage where, in order to push the issue, they must threaten Mbappe with punishment.
The 24-year-old has been certain that he wants to finish his PSG deal and, presumably, move on a free transfer next summer, with Real Madrid patiently waiting. Los Blancos have not yet pursued Mbappe and may be prepared to wait until the summer of 2024 to do so.
However, according to The Athletic (via Sport), if Mbappe refuses to comply with their requests, PSG is prepared to sit him for the duration of the season and deny him access to the field. Naturally, this would be a dramatic step, but PSG are making every effort to pressure Mbappe into extending his contract or leaving.
Will Neymar Go To Premier League This Season?
Despite having already spent more than £200 million on players during the summer transfer window, Arsenal has been urged to sign two more Brazilians.
The Gunners have been active in the transfer market and last week successfully completed deals for Jurrien Timber (£33.4 million) and Declan Rice (£105 million). They have already signed Kai Havertz for £65 million from Chelsea earlier in the transfer window.
If Arteta were to make moves for more new recruits, their sales might also increase the amount of money in their transfer fund. Additionally, Arteta has been advised to move quickly to add another Brazilian to his growing squad in north London by attempting to acquire Neymar from Paris Saint-Germain.

Former Arsenal player Julio Baptista spoke to Gambling Zone and agreed with countryman Gilberto Silva. He said: “I think it is unfair to say the Premier League would be too physical for Neymar. French football is very physical and he’s made some incredible appearances there. For Neymar, Arsenal would be an incredible move because he needs a change in his life.
“He’s given his all for PSG but maybe they don’t give him what he needs. He needs something different. Players need to be happy. I haven’t spoken to him in a long time but a move would be the best thing for his career.
“Gabriel Martinelli is an incredible player and he had an amazing season and I think Neymar could play with him. When you have good players, you try to find the space in the team for all of them, but for sure Neymar is the kind of player you need to work around. You can put Neymar on the left-wing, in the middle or behind the striker. He can play in any position across the front-three, so can Martinelli.”
