Kevin De Bruyne suffered an ankle injury in FA Cup

On Saturday, Chelsea defeated Manchester City 1-0 thanks to Hakim Ziyech’s only goal. Moreover, things got worse for Man City after De Bruyne’s injury.

De Bruyne was forced off with an ankle injury during FA Cup semi-final against Chelsea. He landed awkwardly on his ankle when taking on N’Golo Kante.

Phil Foden was substituted to fill De Bruyne’s gap in the team. However, Man City still wasn’t able to manage the win.

De Bruyne’s injury comes just a week before their Carabao Cup final with Tottenham Spurs. He is, after all, the best player of Man City in all aspects.

Man City entered the UEFA Champions League semi final stage. They will face PSG in the first leg on 29th April. If De Bruyne won’t recover until then, Man City will have a big problem.
