PSG are considering to sell Neymar as Barcelona wants to sign the Brazilian superstar once again
Neymar may very possibly leave Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) this summer after a miserable season with the club. According to reports, the Brazilian international is working really hard to return to Barcelona this summer.
The PSG board is even prepared to approve his departure, according to GOAL. According to a SPORT source, Neymar is open to getting back together with his former Barcelona colleagues this summer.
According to the newspaper, Barcelona’s financial situation will make it difficult for the Brazilian superstar to return to Spain. Some reports say that Neymar is dissatisfied with his time spent with the French team.
Due to injuries, he also missed a number of crucial games and was unable to assist his team in winning the Champions League. In 2020, PSG advanced to the Champions League final, where they were defeated by a tenacious Bayern Munich team, 1-0.
Neymar played a significant role in the renowned attacking trio that also included Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez during his time at Barcelona.
With Barcelona, Neymar went on to win eight championships, including the illustrious triple in 2015. Additionally, he was one of the top three contenders for the Ballon d’Or award.
Neymar made 186 games while wearing a Barcelona jersey and scored 105 goals. He signed a record $227 million contract to join PSG in 2017.

The Brazilian international became the most expensive player in the world as a result of the deal, which became a major conversation topic. During his first season with the French club, Neymar put up impressive figures, scoring 28 goals in 30 games while dishing out 16 assists.
However, the supporters did not appreciate his propensity for getting hurt, and they have since ridiculed him. In May, angry PSG supporters even demonstrated outside Neymar’s home. Neymar is not in manager Xavi’s plans for Barcelona this summer, as he previously stated.
Barcelona’s present financial crisis only makes matters worse because the team cannot afford to pay Neymar a high price. He, however, may have a good chance of moving on loan. If he wants to play for the Spanish team, the PSG attacker would also have to accept a significant pay drop.
