Sergio Aguero was named KUN by his neighbors in his childhood
Football fans will remember the goal scored by Sergio Aguero against QPR that made Manchester City the Premier League champions in 2012. Aguero is one of the best strikers in the world.
Some of you know Aguero’s name as ‘KUN’ but how he was named as this.
In his childhood when Aguero was 2 years old, he and his family moved to Florencio Varela, in southern Greater Buenos Aires. That is the place where his family and Mr. Chetti‘s family became close friends. Mr. Chetti, the head of the household, was the one who gave Aguero the name ‘KUN‘.
Aguero used to watch a Japanese animated series called ‘Wanpaku Amukashi Kum Kum‘. The series was based upon the adventures of a cave-boy and his family who lived at the foot of the ‘Kum Kum Mountain’. Soon he started muttering ‘Kum Kum’ constantly and so he was named ‘KUN’. The whole world started knowing him as ‘Kun Aguero’.
