In a darts match, Harry Maguire faced Luke Littler, and the Manchester United player’s skill astounded the spectators.
Littler has risen to prominence in the darts world in a matter of months.
When the adolescent advanced to the PDC World Darts Championship final earlier this month on his tournament debut, he lost to Luke Humphries in the championship match, garnering national attention. At the time, he was still sixteen.
Following his success at the World Championship, Littler won the Bahrain Masters, taking home an additional £20,000 in addition to his massive £200,000 in prize money from Alexandra Palace.
The previous month has been an absolute dream for the 17-year-old, and his fantastical 2024 was furthered when he met up with United team players for a darts challenge on Sky Sports.
Maguire and Christian Eriksen joined Littler, a lifetime United supporter, and the three of them were put to the test with a series of darts challenges. A number of the United team, including Victor Lindelof, Mason Mount, and Rasmus Hojlund, were spectating from the sidelines.
Throughout the challenges, viewers were surprised by Maguire and Eriksen’s abilities in front of a dart board. Eriksen narrowly defeated Maguire in two of the three battles, but the England defender scored an astounding 171 in a nine-dart challenge.

Of course, Littler demonstrated his better abilities, surpassing Maguire’s 171 with only three darts. Nonetheless, supporters were impressed by Maguire.
Littler has never hidden his passion for Manchester United. On January 14, he met Sir Alex Ferguson as a guest of honour during the Old Trafford club’s home game against Tottenham.
