Manchester United have won both of the monthly Premier League awards for November, with Harry Maguire and Erik ten Hag taking home both.
Due to the season’s third international break, the Red Devils only played three matches in the top tier last month, but they finished with a perfect record of nine points from a possible nine.
Man United began the month with a 1-0 victory over Fulham, followed by a 1-0 victory over Luton Town before the two-week domestic break.
When the Red Devils returned to Premier League action on November 26, they prolonged their unbeaten record with a 3-0 victory over Everton at Goodison Park, which also saw them go the full month without conceding a league goal.
Man United was the only side in the Premier League to go through November without surrendering a single point or conceding a single goal, rising to sixth in the table as a result, and their achievements have finally been recognized.
Ten Hag has won his third Manager of the Month award, having led Manchester United back into European contention following a disappointing start to the season. He previously won the award in September 2022 and February 2023.
Ange Postecoglou’s incredible streak of trophies comes to a stop with the Dutchman’s distinction, as the Tottenham Hotspur coach won the first three awards of the season in August, September, and October.
Postecoglou was not even on November’s four-man shortlist, which included Ten Hag, Bournemouth’s Andoni Iraola, Newcastle United’s Eddie Howe, and Luton Town’s Rob Edwards.
Ten Hag currently has the joint-most Manager of the Month awards for a Dutch coach, alongside Ronald Koeman, who won three in a row while at Southampton between September 2014 and January 2016.
Harry Maguire Is Back In Form
Meanwhile, resurgent centre-back Maguire, who won the Player of the Month award for the first time in his career, joined Ten Hag in taking home a trophy.
The England international had been out of action since the start of last season and had his captaincy stripped from him over the summer, but he has had an unexpected renaissance at the heart of the Red Devils’ backline.

With Jonny Evans and Lisandro Martinez out injured, and Raphael Varane absent, Maguire played every minute of Man United’s victories over Luton, Fulham, and Everton, where he was complimented for a streak of good defensive performances.
Maguire had the joint-most blocks in the Premier League last month with six, as well as the second-most aerial duels with 16, and his 20 clearances ranked fifth in that statistic.
The 30-year-old defeated Manchester City’s Jeremy Doku, Bournemouth’s Marcus Tavernier, Newcastle United’s Anthony Gordon, Chelsea’s Raheem Sterling, and Luton Town custodian Thomas Kaminski to win the Player of the Month award in November, the first defender to do so since Liverpool’s Joel Matip in February 2022.
Maguire is only the second Manchester United defender to receive the award, following Nemanja Vidic in January 2009, and Rio Ferdinand won it in October 2001 while playing for Leeds United.
