Here’s how Gerard Pique hit back at Shakira after her latest diss track about his ex-husband

It’s been over a month since Shakira divorced Pique over an affair with another woman. Shakira has recently released a song in which she has dissed the former Barcelona legend for having an affair with a woman secretly.

In 2010, Pique met Shakira on the set of her official World Cup song “Waka Waka”. According to Spanish media, he had been unfaithful to Shakira which turned out to be the reason for their breakup.

However, the Colombian singer broke her silence for the first time and spit another factor for their breakup.

Shakira spoke to the magazine Elle and claimed that she was forced to “sacrifice” her career for the sake of her partner. Her sacrifice helped her to stay with the couple’s children, but Pique hadn’t been willing to do the same for her.

In her latest track, Shakira aimed at Pique singing: “You traded a Rolex for a Casio”, claiming herself as ‘Rolex’ and the woman a ‘Casio’ since Rolex is more expensive than Casio.

but your brain needs a little work too

This may make you laugh but Pique hit her back with his savage action. He announced a partnership with Casio to sponsor his 7-A-Side Kings League.

“Casio has given us watches for life. The Kings League has reached an agreement with Casio”, Piqué commented while handing out watches to the rest of the program participants.
