Fernando Torres has announced his sensational comeback to professional football
Fernando Torres has announced that he is set to make a sensational return to professional football, aged 37.
Torres is arguably one of the greatest strikers in football history. However, the legend has shocked the whole world by announcing his return.
In 2019, Torres decided to retire from the game, aged 35. He has scored over 250 goals in his club career for Liverpool, Atletico Madrid and Chelsea.

Since his retirement, Torres has taken up boxing training. He owns a string of gyms in the Madrid area and purchased them during his second stint with the club.
Recently, he posted a cryptic message to his Instagram page about a comeback to his professional career.
He writes: “I only understand life in one way: playing. Therefore, I have decided to return. This Friday I will communicate where.
The Spaniard began his career with Atletico Madrid before joining Liverpool. There he enjoyed arguably the best spell of his career, scoring 81 goals in 142 games.
He then joined Chelsea and lifted the UEFA Champions League trophy after that iconic goal against Barcelona in the semi finals.
In 2018, Torres joined his former club Atletico before making the move J1 League side Sagan Tosu. His last campaign was only 5 appearances long.
