Netherlands played against Ukraine to start their UEFA Euro 2020 campaign. It was the match of Euro 2020 so far.
The first half of the game was dominated by Netherlands. They created many chances but weren’t able to net the ball. However, the second half was so dramatic and Ukraine was the one who made the comeback.
The first two goals of the game were scored by Georginio Wijnaldum and Wout Weghorst in 52nd and 58th minute respectively. Nevertheless, Ukraine players were able to net two goals within 5 minutes.
The first goal for Ukraine was scored by Andriy Yarmolenko in 75th minute. Following his teammate, Roman Yaremchuk netted the second goal in 79th minute. The score went 2-2 until Denzel Dumfries’ header in 85th minute which turned the score 3-2 in the end.
