If Endrick doesn’t receive enough playing time in the first several months of his rookie season, he has a backup plan.
The 18-year-old attacker Endrick, thought to be one of the most exciting players in the world, broke down in tears last month upon receiving his official Real Madrid playing debut.
In front of 40,000 supporters at the Bernabeu, he declared that joining the defending European champions was a dream come true. “I am so happy,” he exclaimed.
“Since I was a kid, I have always been a Madrid fan and now I am going to play for Madrid.”
Endrick added: “I am here, I am going to play, I am so happy, my family are as well. I don’t have words to describe what I am feeling. I always wanted to be here. I wanted to play for Madrid.”
The teenager then made his Madrid debut on July 27 against AC Milan in their preseason game, and he later contributed more minutes in a 2-1 loss to Barcelona.
However, he has not yet made his Carlo Ancelotti team’s competitive debut. He was benched for last weekend’s trip to Mallorca after missing out on the Super Cup match against Atalanta.
Ancelotti will probably utilize the Brazilian forward more regularly as they prepare to defend their Champions League title because they have a packed schedule for the upcoming weeks and months.
Will Endrick stay at Real Madrid?
However, AS, a Spanish tabloid, reports that Endrick has not ruled out taking a loan during the winter transfer window if his playing time is below expectations.
His goal, the source says, is to get into Madrid’s starting lineup as quickly as possible, but ‘he does not lose sight of the fact that a lack of minutes could arise.’
There will be two evaluations of his status performed: one at Christmas and one in the summer.

Endrick, on the other hand, feels optimistic about his prospects of joining Ancelotti’s squad.
At this point in his career, he has more international stage experience than Vinicius Jr. and Rodrygo did when they first came to the Bernabeu. They were both the same age when they joined.
His pre-season may not have gone as expected, but the teenager is willing to learn. “Madrid has amazing players and when we return to Madrid I’ll be able to play with more of them,” he said on their pre-season tour. “I’m going to ask them for advice because I’m here to work.”
