Kevin De Bruyne has suffered serious fractures on his face
Chelsea defeated Manchester City 1-0 in the UEFA Champions League final to lift their second title after 9 years.
One of the turning points of the game was Kevin De Bruyne‘s injury. He clashed with Chelsea’s defender Rudiger and suffered serious fractures on his face. He said that he suffered a fractured nose and left orbital.
The 29 year old was so disappointed about the last night. He left the field in tears and has revealed his current situation on Instagram.
“Hi guys just got back from the hospital,” he posted on Twitter.
“My diagnosis is Acute nose bone fracture and left orbital fracture. I feel okay now. Still disappointed about yesterday obviously but we will be back.”
The Belgian will hope to make a comeback on the field till the start of the EURO 2020. Russia will be against Belgium on 12th June.
Belgium is in ‘Group B’ along with Denmark, Finland and Russia. Arguably the best team in the group, Belgium has replaced France on the top spot in FIFA world rankings.
Cristiano Ronaldo’s Portugal will face Spain in a friendly match on 4th June before kicking off their campaign on 15th June.
