Cristiano Ronaldo’s mother was crying during the match
Nothing is more pure than a mother’s love. The same phenomenon was seen during the match between Manchester United and New Castle United.
Cristiano Ronaldo scored two goals during the game and helped United move to the top of the Premier League table. He is now only 2 goals away from surpassing Andy Cole’s 121 goals record for the club.
After watching his son playing and scoring in red jersey again, Ronaldo’s mother Maria Dolores dos Santos Aveiro was seen crying in the stands.
The Portuguese legend is so sensitive with his mother. He doesn’t allow her to watch big games because of a very serious reason.
Ronaldo told Piers Morgan: “She’s not allowed now to watch big games.
“I say, ‘Listen, I don’t have a father any more. I don’t want to lose my mum, too, so you’re not going to watch quarter-finals, semi-finals, or finals’.”
Maria gets so anxious during breathtaking games. She has fainted twice inside the stadium, with one of her falls breaking her teeth.
