According to a recent story, Cristiano Ronaldo has purchased a fresh new mega-mansion on Dubai’s “billionaire island.”
The former Manchester United and Real Madrid legend is still playing for Saudi Pro League side Al-Nassr and is said to have expanded his Middle Eastern property holdings.
The Portuguese footballer already owns a number of properties in Europe, including homes in Manchester, Turin, Marbella, and Madrid. He also started building a new home in Portugal in 2021 to complement his opulent Madeira Villa.
Al-Nassr is presently second in the Pro League table, seven points behind Al-Hilal. Ronaldo has only won one trophy since joining the club just over a year ago, following his acrimonious departure from Manchester United.
They finished second in the league to Al-Ittihad the previous season and will be looking to bridge the gap and win the title this season.
According to The Sun, Ronaldo’s new Dubai property is on the opulent Jumeirah Bay Island, also known as ‘Billionaire’s Island. It goes on to say that the mansion is planned to be finished in 2024 and is valued at least £21 million.
During his family’s visits to the United Arab Emirates, he would stay at the property. He and his partner Georgina Rodriguez have two sons and three more children.
Ronaldo was recently selected for the FifPro World XI for his excellent goal-scoring form in Saudi Arabia. He now leads the Pro League in scoring with 20 goals in only 18 games.
While the level isn’t as good as we’ve seen him play, the league is filled with elite strikers such as Karim Benzema, Sadio Mane, and Aleksander Mitrovic.
