This summer, Chelsea might receive an offer for a top player in a significant trade.
During this active transfer window, the Blues have added players such as Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, Omari Kellyman, Renato Veiga, Caleb Wiley, Marc Guiu, and Tosin Adarabioyo.
Despite this, rumours have suggested that Chelsea may be considering a trade that would bring a star player to Stamford Bridge.
Transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano wrote on social media: “Napoli keep looking for solutions for Victor Osimhen as they want to bring in Romelu Lukaku as soon as possible.
“Understand Napoli could also be open to discussing Osimhen as part of Lukaku talks with Chelsea. Osimhen said yes to PSG, but deal in stand-by between clubs.”
The Nigerian has long been associated with Chelsea, Manchester United, and Arsenal, two other Premier League teams.
After Chelsea drew 2-2 with Wrexham and then lost 4-1 to Celtic last week, Enzo Maresca’s tenure as Chelsea’s manager has not been easy.

Speaking after the defeat by Brendan Rodgers’ men, Maresca said: “We are trying so many things and we have not had the chance to try everything because we only started 15 to 20 days ago.

“I think after five minutes, we had already had two or three chances to score a goal and in the second half, until the third goal, our team was very good, again creating chances.”
The Italian continued: “I think we didn’t concede a shot [in the second half] until the 75th minute and then we conceded the third goal and it became more difficult.
“For me, it is important to realise the difference between us and them in the physical conditioning. You can see they had already played four games in pre-season and they are starting their official season very soon. Whereas for us, we struggled a little bit physically.”
