Ben White signs for Arsenal
Ben White has joined Arsenal for five-year deal in £50m transfer from Brighton. Her is the third signing of the Gunners this season.
White will wear the No 4 shirt in red and white. He got a late call-up to Gareth Southgate’s England Euro 2020 squad and did really great in the tournament.
The centre-back made 39 appearances for Brighton in all competitions last season. Ben also impressed on loan during Leeds’ Championship title-winning side in 2019-20.
Alexander Arnold signs an extension deal
Trent Alexander-Arnold has signed a new long-term contract at Liverpool. In October 2016, he made his debut in a League Cup tie against Tottenham at Anfield.
Interestingly, the full-back has Premier League, UEFA Champions League, FIFA Club World Cup and UEFA Super Cup titles to his name.
Trent has made 179 appearances for Liverpool in total. He was also shortlisted for the Ballon d’Or in 2019.
