No other front three in the top five leagues in Europe can compete with Barça’s highly effective attackers.
This season, the trio of Raphinha, Lamine Yamal, and Robert Lewandowski has made the unusual appear commonplace. After scoring goals and creating goals apparently at will in 2024–2025, the three attackers are the strike force in vogue. There haven’t been many Barça games this season where the three haven’t played a part in getting the ball into the goal.
All three scored in Barça’s most recent game, which saw the Blaugranes triumph 4-0 at the Santiago Bernabéu. With the numbers speaking for themselves, no other attacking trio in Europe’s top leagues can match them right now.
Barca’s Top Scorers
Due to the efforts of the front three this season, FC Barcelona has more goals than any other team in the top five leagues in Europe. The club led by Hansi Flick has scored 47 goals so far in 2024–2025—37 in the league and 10 in the Champions League—four more than Bayern Munich and twelve more than Chelsea, who are now in third place.
33 of those goals, or 70% of the total this season, have been split between the Pole, the Brazilian, and the La Masia teenager. Then there’s the minor issue of help.
Extraordinary Performances
Because of the threat they pose, the three forwards also help each other and the team as a whole. The combined numbers are far superior to those of rival trios like Kane, Olise, and Musiala at Bayern and Palmer, Jackson, and Nkunku at Chelsea.

Lamine Yamal has six goals and seven assists, Raphinha has ten goals and seven assists, while Lewandowski has 17 goals and two assists in 14 league and Champions League games. Messi, Pedro, and Villa in 2010–11; Messi, Eto’o, and Henry in 2008–09; and, of course, Messi, Suárez, and Neymar in 2014–15 are examples of stratospheric numbers that evoke other great forward lines.
Incredible Stats
All three are currently able to provide data that indicate they contribute at least one goal each game in 2024–2025. In 2008/09, Messi (1.22), Eto’o (1.04), and Henry (1.15); in 2014/15, Messi (1.63), Neymar (1.01), and Luis Suárez (1.24); and in 2015/16, Messi (1.39), Neymar (1.06), and Luis Suárez (1.60). Lewandowski led the way with 1.61 goals or assists per appearance, followed by Raphinha (1.19) and Lamine (1.12).
Lewandowski, Raphinha, and Lamine Yamal’s ability to sustain their great stats is still up in the air, but for now, let’s just relax and enjoy the campaign.
