Antonio Conte wants to be the coach of Tottenham Hotspur

On Monday, Tottenham Hotspur sacked Nuno Espirito after the team faced a 0-3 defeat against Ole Solskjaer’s Manchester United.

The club is now trying to sign the man who led Inter Milan to their first Scudetto in 9 years. Antonio Conte himself wants to coach Spurs.

The former Chelsea boss has cleared his intentions before agreeing the deal. According to Sport Mediaset, he is reportedly keen to bring several players to Spurs in January.

Tottenham’s director Fabio Paratici said: “I know how much Nuno and his coaching staff wanted to succeed and I regret that we have had to take this decision.

Nuno is a true gentleman and will always be welcome here. We should like to thank him and his coaching staff and wish them well for the future.”

Negotiations between Spurs and Italian club Fiorentina have already started over Dušan Vlahović. He has scored 8 goals in 11 appearances across all competitions to date.

The 21-year-old has a market value of £45million according to transfermarkt. However, his contract with the club will expire in June 2023, so the management would like to do things as soon as possible.
