Australia international Rhali Dobson is retiring aged 28 to support her boyfriend who is currently fighting with brain cancer.
She played for Melbourne against Perth after announcing the news, and scored.
“Five days after his brain surgery he kicked my backside back down here to Melbourne, told me that I had to finish out the season, that I’ve got unfinished business and it was still normal as always,” Dobson said earlier this week.
She is class player both on and off the field. She showed how much love could be to someone who really cares about his/her partner.
Not only this, his boyfriend also proposed her after the match. Both of them won the hearts of football fans.
