Before the game’s release, the list of the UFL’s top players has surfaced, and fans can now view the newest EAFC rival.

It was revealed back in December 2023 that Cristiano Ronaldo will be a part of a group contributing $40 million to the development of a brand-new video game called “UFL,” which is being made by Strikerz Inc.

UFL, which bills itself as “fair to play,” will launch for free and allow participants to “grind the game” to create the football club of their dreams.

Players will have the opportunity to test the most recent version of the game ahead of release during a new Open Beta testing weekend that takes place from August 2-4.

As a free-to-play game, UFL will only need to be downloaded once, unlike EAFC, which releases a new version every season. UFL has therefore made the audacious decision to regularly revise base player ratings.

Eugene Nishlov’s Explanation for Rating System

“The player ratings will be updated on a very regular basis, so they will always be live ratings,” Strikerz CEO Nashilov explained.

“Once a month we will be changing the parameters of all the players in the transfer market, for example, if you buy Kevin De Bruyne – after a month his parameters will change based on how he’s performed in real life.”

UFL claims to be using top-level tech in order to pull this off on such a consistent basis for every single player in the game.

“This analyses real player performance on the real-life pitches and we get the data from their pace, their passing, different types of passing, and more,” he said.

“We calculate their entire effectiveness on the pitch for the role they are in, we get these statistics and use our algorithm to transform them into player ratings.”

The best players in the game are Ronaldo, Jude Bellingham, Erling Haaland, Kevin De Bruyne, Kylian Mbappe, Vini Jr., and Lionel Messi, his long-time nemesis.

Nashilov did, however, disclose that this method is not always accurate and that, on occasion, human involvement is required to provide the most realistic assessments.

“Sometimes we have to interfere a bit manually because a player could have missed half a season so his parameters would automatically be poorer. For example, we couldn’t have De Bruyne rated 60,” he added.

Cristiano Ronaldo, the cover star, may be negatively impacted by this “live rating system” even though it will maintain the game as current as possible (he is presently rated as the joint-highest player in the game at 91).
