The Netherlands will face France on the seventh matchday of the 2024 UEFA Euro qualifiers

France travels to Amsterdam on Friday evening to face fellow Group B aspirants the Netherlands, needing only one more win to secure a place at Euro 2024 with two games to spare.

So far, Les Bleus have blown the competition out of the water, taking 15 points out of a possible 15, while Oranje are six points worse off than their future opponents, despite having a game in hand.

The Netherlands have played one fewer game than their Euro 2024 qualifying Group B counterparts coming into October’s internationals due to their failure in the Nations League finals, where losses to Croatia and Italy made it four defeats from five for Ronald Koeman’s embattled men.

France extended their spotless start to qualifying Group B – and indeed their impeccable defensive record – by sending two goals past the Republic of Ireland without reply.

The Netherlands and France began their Euro 2024 qualifying campaigns against each other in March, but the Dutch were beaten 4-0 by Les Bleus, who have six wins from their last seven meetings with Oranje during a period of international dominance.
