The last group stage match was played between Cameroon and Brazil with the former taking the victory away.

Serbia 2-3 Switzerland

Despite Spain having dominated the whole game, Japan defeated them 2-1 when Ao Tanaka scored the winner in 51′ minute.
Germany 1-2 Japan
Japan defeated the almighty Germany 1-2 in their first group stage game of the tournament. Hansi Flick’s team had 74% of possession with over 700 passes but they still failed to find a way to the victory.
Let us tell you that Germany are out of the World Cup and this defeat costed them a bit too much.
Tunisia 1-0 France
France had to face a 1-0 defeat against Tunisia but they still topped their group (Group D) and Tunisia still failed to advance to the knockout stages.
France defeated Australia 4-1 in their opening game of the tournament; then won 2-1 against Denmark in which Kylian Mbappe scored a brace.
Belgium 0-2 Morocco
The end of the Belgium’s Golden Generation didn’t look well as expected. They lost 0-2 to Morocco in their second group stage match, taking away only four points with them on the points table.
They had started their campaign with a win over Canada but could not maintain that form until the end.
Portugal 3-2 Ghana
Portugal have qualified for the knockout stages. However, they had one unforgettable moment in the group stage that even Cristiano Ronaldo could not believe on.
In the final minutes of the game, Diogo Costa’s mistake could have costed his team a lot. Ghana needed only one goal to equalize the score but Portugal somehow managed to deny that mistake.
Costa was unaware of Inaki Williams who was behind him. Williams took the advantage of the situation and as soon as Costa put the ball on ground, he rushed from behind to snatch the ball from him. But Ruben Dias somehow retrieved the ball and saved the scoreline.
The reaction on Portugal’s bench was hilarious.
