After a long-long years of wait, Rockstar Games have finally announced GTA 6’s trailer which will be launched in December this year.
Following earlier reports, Rockstar Games has announced that the first trailer for the new Grand Theft Auto will be released in early December. Rockstar Games President Sam Houser made the announcement.
We still don’t have a banner or a title for the game, and the firm keeps referring to it as the next Grand Theft Auto. The specific date has not been announced, however, it will most likely be revealed on December 7th during The Game Awards.
Rockstar Games celebrates its 25th anniversary in December 2023, and Grand Theft Auto V celebrates its 10th anniversary in September.
It is the second best-selling video game of all time, with over 185 million copies shipped, and one of the most financially successful entertainment products of all time, with approximately USD 8 billion in worldwide revenue as of 2023.
“The Rockstar Games team is determined to once again set creative benchmarks for the series, our industry, and for all entertainment, just as the label has done with every one of their frontline releases,” said Strauss Zelnick, CEO of Rockstar’s parent company Take-Two Interactive regarding the development of the game back in August 2022.
Rockstar made the announcement with this official statement:
“Thanks to the incredible support of our players worldwide, we have had the opportunity to create games we are truly passionate about — without you, none of this would be possible, and we are so grateful to all of you for sharing this journey with us.
“In 1998, Rockstar Games was founded on the idea that video games could come to be as essential to culture as any other form of entertainment, and we hope that we have created games you love in our efforts to be part of that evolution.
